Nexus Scouts: Applicant Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before submitting your application. By submitting your information through a Nexus Scouts platform or to an Official Nexus Scout, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Nexus Scouting Model

Nexus Scouts operates as a professional training and networking organisation. You acknowledge that:

  • Independent Scouts: The individual you are communicating with is an independent contractor ("Scout") trained by Nexus Scouts. They are not necessarily an employee of the end-organisation offering the opportunity.

  • The Network Advantage: Your application is not restricted to a single vacancy. By applying, you are entering the Nexus Ecosystem, where your profile may be matched with various career, business, or financial opportunities across our global network.

2. Use of Personal Data & Consent

By submitting your CV, contact details, and professional profile, you provide express consent for:

  • Data Portability: Your information to be shared among our network of Scouts.

  • Multi-Opportunity Matching: Your profile to be curated and presented for opportunities beyond the specific role you initially applied for, provided the Scout deems the opportunity relevant to your skill set.

  • Communication: Our Scouts to contact you via email, phone, or professional messaging platforms regarding new and verified opportunities.

3. Verification & Due Diligence

Nexus Scouts takes pride in training our recruiters to identify and recommend legitimate opportunities. However:

  • Applicant Responsibility: You agree to perform your own due diligence before entering into any legal or financial agreement with a third-party employer or business partner.

  • No Guarantees: Nexus Scouts does not guarantee employment, funding, or specific financial outcomes. We facilitate the connection; the final agreement is between you and the third party.

4. Fees and Payments

  • No Application Fees: Nexus Scouts will never charge an applicant a fee to apply for a job or to be part of our talent network. If you are asked for money to "process an application" by anyone claiming to be a Scout, please report this to us immediately.

5. Limitation of Liability

Nexus Scouts (the parent organisation) shall not be held liable for:

  • The conduct of independent Scouts beyond the scope of their training.

  • The terms, conditions, or breach of any contract entered into between an applicant and a third-party organisation discovered through our network.

  • Any loss of data or perceived loss of opportunity.

6. Your Rights (Data Withdrawal)

You remain the owner of your data. Under British English standards of data protection (GDPR):

  • You may request a copy of the data we hold on you at any time.

  • You may request the "Right to be Forgotten" by emailing our compliance team. Upon this request, your profile will be deactivated across the Nexus Scouts network.

7. Accuracy of Information

You certify that all information provided in your application is truthful and accurate. Providing false information or misrepresenting your identity may result in immediate removal from the Nexus network.

Acknowledgment

By clicking "Submit" or "Apply", I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to the Nexus Scouts Terms and Conditions. I understand that my information will be used to match me with multiple opportunities curated by trained independent scouts.
